Monoprinting+Collage=MonoColl

Workshops run by Pat Thornton

Monoprinting is a form of printmaking. Lines or images are only made once, unlike most printmaking which allows for multiple originals. The beauty of monoprinting lies in its spontaneity and its allowance for combinations of printmaking, painting and drawing media. Collage involves cutting stuff up and sticking it down. Combining the two produces great results. Unexpected outcomes. And – if you remember how you felt cutting and sticking as a child – you’ll rediscover that beautifully freeing sense of losing yourself in the activity.

Workshops are held regularly at Pat’s Studio in Lewes.
